Prescriber
Prescriber endorsements must be populated in the ‘Prescriber endorsement’ field. Only prescriber endorsements within this field will be used for reimbursement and remuneration.
The prescriber endorsements required are:
- 'ACBS' for products recommended by the Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances
- 'AF' for assorted flavours
- 'CC' for contraceptives
- 'FS' for items prescribed for treatment of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) or tuberculosis
- 'SLS' for selected list scheme

Dispenser
Dispenser endorsement requirements can be found in the EPS guidance for endorsement.
The guidance shows which dispensing endorsements are applicable to different dispensing contractors. It also shows the dispenser endorsements required by NHS Prescription Services to help the reimbursement and remuneration process.
