How do I close a contract?

If you're a Integrated Care Board (ICB) or Local Health Board (LHB) and need to close a contract down, you can do this on Compass:

1. Select Contract.
2. Select Contract Amend.
3. Search for the contract you want to end.
4. Select Edit.
5. Enter a contract end date and select a reason.
6. Select Submit.

If you receive an error message, this will be related to validation.

You must make sure the Net Pensionable Earnings (NPE) and Net Pensionable Earnings Equivalent (NPEE) is present in the current financial year for the duration of the performer's start and end dates and services cover the entire contract dates.
