You can update your personal details on Compass using the ‘Self-service personal details’ screen. This is in the ‘Performer’ folder on the homepage menu.
You can update your:
- email address
- National Insurance (NI) number
- telephone number
- home address
- fax number
A change in name will update with us automatically once you've informed the General Dental Council (GDC). We upload their register to Compass each month.
To update your address, you must select the green plus sign next to the location ID box.
Contact us if you need to update your address on your NHS Pension or Total Reward Statement (TRS) record.
Any changes to your NI number on Compass are sent to NHS Pensions. They’ll update your pension record within 2 working days.
If you need to update your date of birth, email firstname.lastname@example.org. You must provide evidence of your correct date of birth.

You can update your personal details on Compass using the 'Participant Update' screen. You can access this screen at the bottom of the folders on the homepage menu.
