Compass allows practices to submit their FP17 or FP17O claim information electronically:

The patient will need to sign a paper Patient Record (PR) form, and this must be retained by the practice for a period of two years.

From 1 May 2019, FP17 or FP17O submissions for new courses of treatment must be completed electronically. Paper submissions for courses of treatment started prior to 1 May 2019 will be accepted until 30 June 2019. After this date paper submissions will not be accepted.
Prior to the ceasing of paper FP17 or FP17O's, practices must choose one of the following options:
