If you’re trying to remove a performer from your contract and get the error message 'Trainer's tenure doesn't cover the entire Foundation Dentist period,' the performer you’re removing is a Trainer who has a Foundation Dentist (FD) allocated to them on the contract whose tenure extends beyond the end date you’re trying to input.
You’ll not be able to submit the contract authorisation until the end dates for all FD Trainers attached to the contract are entered with either the exact date of the FD's tenure end date or later.

If you have an FD Trainer who’s leaving a contract before their FDs tenure ends, the FD Tenure and FD Trainer's details must be amended first.
In England, NHS Dental Services are responsible for making these amendments on instruction from Health Education England (HEE).
You must tell your local HEE office of any changes to an FDs training placement who’ll arrange this with NHS Dental Services.
For Wales, you must contact your Local Health Board.
