For the purposes of New Patient Premium, Compass determines a new patient as someone who’s received a course of band 1, 2, or 3 treatment commenced on or after 1 March 2024, and not had a prior course of band 1, 2, or 3 treatment from the same clinician, contract or provider which completed in the 24 months prior to the date of acceptance of the new course of treatment.
