Am I entitled to a free NHS dental examination in Wales?

You're entitled to a free NHS dental examination at an NHS practice in Wales if you live in Wales and are:

• under age 25
• over age 60

You must be under age 25 or over age 60 on the date your NHS dental treatment starts.

If you need further treatment including x-rays, the relevant Care Package charge will apply.

If a fluoride varnish is included in your examination, you're entitled to a free exam.
