You'll only pay one charge if you need to go to the dentist more than once to complete your course of treatment (CoT).

Band 1
The current charge is £27.90.
Treatment covers:
- an examination, diagnosis and care to prevent problems
- if necessary, X-rays, and planning for more treatment
Band 2
The current charge is £76.60.
Treatment covers:
- all necessary treatment covered by band 1
- treatment such as fillings, root-canal treatments or extractions
Band 3
The current charge is £332.10.
Treatment covers:
- all necessary treatment covered by band 1 and 2
- more complicated procedures such as crowns, dentures, or bridges
Band 4
The current charge is £27.90.
Treatment covers Unscheduled Care.
Unscheduled Care is to provide patients with any necessary treatment to address severe pain or prevent significant deterioration in oral health.
