If you're practicing as a limited company, you must send us a copy of your limited company certificate along with a covering letter telling us about your change in status. This must be sent by post to:

NHSBSA
Dental Pension Administration
PO Box 679
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE5 2DZ

You'll be opted out of the NHS Pension Scheme from the date you became limited.

You do not need to complete an opt out form as you're no longer eligible to be in the NHS Pension Scheme. Any contributions paid while you were limited will be refunded.

If you're considered as a limited company and are both the provider and clinician on your contract, you can still pay into the NHS Pension Scheme.

Depending on how your status is set up on your contract, you may be able to perform as a limited company on one contract and perform as an individual on another.

You can read guidance about this on the NHS Pensions website.

You'll automatically be opted back in to the NHS Pension Scheme. If you want to opt out of the NHS Pension Scheme, follow this guidance.
