Yes, but you must have submitted an application for DSAs and received confirmation from us in writing to state that you have been authorised to arrange a needs assessment.

This also applies if you are currently withdrawn from your course and intend to resume in the near future.

In all instances students should not be advised by disability advisors or needs assessors to commit to any expenditure before NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) approval for DSAs is received on the assumption that reimbursement will be made.

Reimbursements will not be given for support or equipment provided before a DSAs application has been submitted to NHSBSA and a needs assessment has been carried out.
