Gave a lift to another NHS Bursary funded student

You can claim passenger miles if you're entitled to claim Travel and Dual Accomodation Expenses (TDAE).

List the number of miles travelled in Section 5 of your TDAE claim form.

In Section 7, provide the passengers full details and list how many miles they travelled with you.

If there's more than one passenger, provide details of the dates and miles they travelled with you on a separate sheet.

You cannot claim passenger miles for:

  • non-NHS Bursary funded students
  • EU Fees Only students
  • students funded through the Northern Irish, Scottish, or Welsh funding authorities

Received a lift from a fellow NHS Bursary funded student

The other NHS Bursary funded student will make the claim for costs and you'll be declared as a passenger on their form.

You cannot claim any passenger miles yourself.
