The spouse / civil partner / partner contribution may have to be re-calculated from the date of your spouse / civil partner's / partner's death. Your basic award would then be an aggregate amount of your award with the original spouse / civil partner's / partner's contribution and the revised spouse / civil partner's / partner's contribution.
If you receive any additional allowances such as Dependants Allowance and Childcare Allowance, these must also be reassessed from the date of your spouse / civil partner's / partner's death.
You will need to submit a change of circumstances and provide a covering letter.
