An EA code is a 4-digit reference number unique to each employer.

Follow the guidance for:

Employers

If you need your EA code, email nhsbsa.pensionsemployers@nhsbsa.nhs.uk including your:

  • name
  • position in the organisation
  • organisations name
  • organisations address

If you need to register and get an EA code, read the guidance on our website to check which form you must complete.

If you're a practice which has merged with another practice, you may need to apply for a new EA code. Email schemeaccess@nhsbsa.nhs.uk.

Employees

If you need your employer's EA code, contact the Pensions Administrator at your employer.
