If you're eligible to receive a bursary, the payments will be paid directly into your bank or building society account by Bacs (Bankers Automated Clearing System).
The account that you use must be:
- In your own name (or a joint account that includes your name as an account holder)
- A UK based bank or building society account
- Able to accept direct credits
We cannot:
- Pay any money into an account in another person's name (even with your permission)
- Pay any money via any other method (such as by cash, cheque or into a prepaid card account)
