How does my pharmacy apply for a temporary safeguarding payment as part of the devolving of the global sum?

This is outlined in Part XIVC of the Drug Tariff, Devolving the Global Sum which confirms a form must be completed and sent to us with evidence.

There are 2 forms depending on which type of claim you want to make:

• payment due to an increase in supplier bills following an increase in prescription volume
• payment due to an increase in prescription duration and the subsequent drop in items dispensed and therefore fewer fees
