If we need more information about your ESA, we'll send you a Further Information Letter (FIL).
The information we ask for is on your ESA award letter.
If you're not sure what type of ESA you get, you must send us a copy of the letter to review by email or post.
Email address:
Digital HC1: lisdigital2@nhsbsa.nhs.uk
Paper HC1: lisscanning@nhsbsa.nhs.uk
You must include the reference from the FIL in the subject of your email.
Address:
Health Exemption Services
NHS Business Services Authority
Bridge House
152 Pilgrim Street

You must include a covering letter with the reference from the FIL.
We'll ask:
- is your ESA ‘income related’ or ‘contributions based’
- have you moved from Incapacity Benefit (IB) to ESA
- how long have you been receiving ESA
We also must know the 'group' you're in.
