You must check with your employer if you’re eligible to re-join.
If you’ve taken a refund of your pension contributions, you must have a 24-hour break in membership before returning to the Scheme.
If you re-join within a month of claiming a refund, the refunded membership counts as qualifying membership. It does not form part of the pension benefits calculation.
You can re-join the Scheme up to the age of 75.
The decision to opt in will take effect from the first day of the next full pay period.
The date of joining or re-joining cannot be backdated.
