This depends on the form you’ve submitted an error on.
SS10 joiner form
You cannot correct or amend this on Pensions Online (POL) unless it's gone to error handling.
You must delete the employment and resubmit the joiner form with the correct details.
This will also delete any annual updates submitted for the member.
If you’ve already submitted annual updates for the member and do not want these to be deleted, you must email datamanagement@nhsbsa.nhs.uk. Data Management will try to amend the record where possible.
If the record is removed, you must re-create the record through POL.
SD55 or SD55T form
Submit an SD55E if you need to change:
- contributions
- pay details
- the number of hours or sessions worked by part-time members of staff.
If the member has changed hours or had a mid-year contribution rate change and this was not recorded on the SD55, this cannot be changed by an SD55E.
For employers with POL, you must rewind the employment and resubmit the SD55 with the correct details. When rewinding employment this will remove any annual updates for the years after the date you’re rewinding to.
When resubmitting any annual updates, you can view the figures for previous years using the SD55E in POL before rewinding.
Non-POL employers must email directionbodies@nhsbsa.nhs.uk.
If you need to change personal details, submit a SD55G.
AW8 form
If you’ve made an error when submitting an AW8 on POL, you must tell us the correct information and include a copy of the original application.
