You must upload original evidence of any income your spouse, partner, or civil partner received if you're applying for the postgraduate maintenance grant or any of the additional dependants allowances.
The letter you upload must be from an original document. We cannot accept proof of income by fax, post or email.

For guidance, we can accept:
Income from employment
- P60
- payslips which cover the full tax year
- P45
- employer's letter
- HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) income confirmation
- confirmation of earnings form which you can download from our website within the 'Forms you might need' section
Income from self-employment
- accountant's letter
- tax self assessment form
- profit and loss accounts
Income from property, lettings or rent
- accountant's letter
- tax self assessment form
Income from trusts
- dividend statements
Income from taxable pensions
- pension statements
Income from benefits
- benefit letters or statements
- confirmation of benefits form which you can download from our website within the 'Forms you might need' section
Maintenance payments for yourself and children
- child support agency letter
- maintenance court order
- confirmation of voluntary maintenance letter
Building society interest
- bank or building society statements of interest earned if the amount received is over £1,000
Income from investments
- dividend statements if the amount received is over £1,000
Income from sponsorships
- award letter from sponsor
