If you have claimed broken bulk this may not be itemised on your payment schedule as the schedule would only show the price for the prescribed amount.
The residual amount will be included in either the SDR (standard discount rate) or ZD (zero discount) payment; whichever the drug falls under.
For example 84 tablets prescribed, Broken Bulk claimed on 100 tablets. If 100 tablets cost £140, then only £117.60 would show on the schedule as a payment for the 84 tabs prescribed. However, £140 would have actually been paid.
Why is a claim for broken bulk on an expensive item incorrectly paid or missing from my payment schedule?
