Does a UK Global Health Insurance Card (UK GHIC) or UK European Health Insurance Card (UK EHIC) entitle me to state provided medical care if I am on a cruise?

A UK GHIC or UK EHIC does not cover you for any medical treatment you receive on board a cruise, even if the vessel is docked.

You may be entitled to state provided emergency or necessary treatment if you're taken to a hospital inland for state funded treatment.
