From July 2020, NHS England and NHS Improvement requested that Dental Services collect the number of Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGP) per course of treatment. This is to understand the level of AGP appointments being provided.
An AGP field is available on the Compass online FP17/FP17O claim form and is also available for submission from dental practice management systems.
The completion of the AGP information on an FP17/FP17O is optional in England and is not required in Wales.
