A provider or Commissioner can create a DCP record to add onto their contract.
Provider
- Log in to Compass.
- Select Clinician.
- Choose Create DCP.
- Select Create new DCP Clinician.
- Input GDC Number, this will add the DCP’s details into the ‘Name’, ‘Address’ and ‘Clinician Type’ fields.
- Select Save/Create to create the record.
Once the DCP record has been created, you will be able to add them onto your contract.
Commissioner
- Log in to Compass.
- Select Clinician.
- Select Clinician Creation and Authorisation.
- Select Create DCP Clinician.
- Fill all mandatory fields.
- Make sure the ‘System User’ box is ticked and select Dental Care Professional from the drop-down list.
- A second user will need to authorise the DCP creation.
