A provider or Commissioner can create a DCP record to add onto their contract.

Provider

  1. Log in to Compass.
  2. Select Clinician.
  3. Choose Create DCP.
  4. Select Create new DCP Clinician.
  5. Input GDC Number, this will add the DCP’s details into the ‘Name’, ‘Address’ and ‘Clinician Type’ fields.
  6. Select Save/Create to create the record.

Once the DCP record has been created, you will be able to add them onto your contract.

Commissioner

  1. Log in to Compass.
  2. Select Clinician.
  3. Select Clinician Creation and Authorisation.
  4. Select Create DCP Clinician.
  5. Fill all mandatory fields.
  6. Make sure the ‘System User’ box is ticked and select Dental Care Professional from the drop-down list.
  7. A second user will need to authorise the DCP creation.
