When registering, or making changes on the NHS LSF system, you’ll be sent an SMS code to your mobile phone which you must enter on the system.

You can request a maximum of 10 codes per 6 hour period.

If you do not have access to the phone the SMS code is being sent to, you’ll be given an option to change the number.

Registration

If you’re registering for the first time, you must provide a UK mobile phone number.

Signing in

First sign in

The first time you log in, you’ll be asked if your phone number is correct. If it’s wrong, you must change it.

If you have no mobile phone number on {@LSF_system_link@}, you must add one.

Once the correct number is added to your record, you’ll be sent an SMS code to sign in.

Future sign in attempts

If you choose to ‘remember device’, you’ll be signed straight in.

If you did not choose to ‘remember device’, an SMS code will be sent to you each time you want to sign in.

Forgotten your password

If you forget your password, you can request a password reset email. When you select the link, you’ll receive an SMS code which you must enter before you change your password.

Change of details

Change of email address or password

You’ll be sent an SMS code to enter to confirm the changes.

Change of phone number

You’ll be sent a link by email which prompts you to confirm your phone number is correct. You must change it if it’s wrong.
