Once we amend your details, this will update your record with the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA).
You’ll receive an automated email once your details are updated.
We’re unable to amend your details with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
Updating name, date of birth, or National Insurance number
You must email evidence to ihsreimbursements@nhsbsa.nhs.uk with your full name, date of birth, 'BSA reference number' and one of the following:
Wrong name or incorrect date of birth
- driving license
- passport
- birth certificate
Changed name
- marriage certificate
- deed poll
National Insurance number
- National Insurance card
- HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) letter
