If your DD payment fails, we'll try to collect payment again within 10 days.

If the collection fails:

  • a second time, we'll send you a letter with the action you must take
  • a third time, the DD will be cancelled and the outstanding balance must be paid in full

If you want to cancel your DD, you must tell your bank or building society and contact us to make alternative payment arrangements.

If your bank or building society has cancelled your DD in error, you can reinstate this by contacting them directly or by contacting our helpdesk.
