If your qualifying benefit has changed, you must contact us to update your claim. 

If you've moved to Universal Credit, you’ll still be eligible if:

  • your family's total take-home pay is £408 or less per month
  • you also have parental responsibility for at least one child under 4 or are more than 10 weeks pregnant

You must apply online to receive NHS Healthy Start payments. You can apply online once:

  • your children are added and verified to your Universal Credit claim
  • you’ve received your first Universal Credit payment
